That Chomchuen is a research assistant at NARIT (since March 2025), developing software for astronomical photometry and spectroscopy: Python- and .NET-based control of CCD and CMOS cameras, plate solving and star tracking, and the observing software for the team's instruments. He holds a BSc in Statistics (first-class honors, 2021) from Chiang Mai University, where he is now an MSc student in Computer Science.
He is first author of the SPIE 2026 paper on the unified software architecture for real-time autoguiding and robotization of the LRS and CoLoRS spectrographs at the TRT and TNT.
Projects

Low-Resolution Spectrograph for the 2.4-m Thai National Telescope
Interchangeable long-slit spectrograph for the 2.4-m TNT with on-the-fly slit change, a high-resolution VPH grating, and an off-axis pick-off mirror for guiding.

Compact Low-Resolution Spectrograph for the 0.7-m Thai Robotic Telescopes
Single long-slit spectrograph with dichroic-split iz-band guiding for fully robotic transient classification and AGN reverberation monitoring on the 0.7-m TRT.
